In Glow of Venus, the protagonist faces an unexpected turn less than a year before graduation. His parent's new jobs force him to move hundreds of miles away, uprooting his life and placing him in a new school. He struggles to find his place with no friends and closed social circles that are hard to penetrate.
One day, he discovers an anonymous note in his shoe locker, inviting him to meet in a classroom after school. Unsure of what to expect, perhaps a cruel prank or even a confrontation with a school gang, he hesitantly makes his way to the designated room, his heart pounding with anxiety and curiosity.
